Dear Parents,
This week in Fundations, we are introducing the Trick Words ‘by’ and ‘my’. We are also continuing to practice reading and writing sentences. In math we are working on chapter 12, 3-D Shapes.
Our ABC countdown continues on! This week we have the following days: Today—Hat Day, Tuesday: Ice Pop Day, Wednesday: Jean Day, Thursday: Kindness Day, Friday: Lights Out Day.
Grades K-4th will be having a fun Field Day on Tuesday, May 21! It’s always a great time for the students as well as parent volunteers. Please consider signing up to help out. A note about volunteering was sent home last week. Let me know if you need another copy of it to sign up.
Our last full day of school will be Thursday, May 23.
To help keep your child reading throughout the summer, consider signing up for the summer reading program at the Peoria Heights Public Library. They have lots of fun activities for children of all ages!
Happy May Day Wednesday!
